In this match up we are taking fashion icon, Rihanna, because we think the pixie cut shows off her gorgeous features best. Pixie plus pink hair equals total drama. Nevertheless, this summer hair trend is not for the faint of heart, it is bold and extremely daring. However, be sure to let us know what you think of the match up as well as if you would follow Nicki and RiRi’s lead and wear pink hair.

Our line is ringing off the hook tonight for a hot WWE beauty. Fans know her as Cameron, one half of the dominating wrestling duo, the Funkadactlys. We spied out some of her makeup looks and it was love at first beauty sight.

Our favorite look by Ariane is her strong red lip and POW eyelashes. Whether its a selfie or she’s snapping a shot with a celebrity host (we see you Arsenio!) Andrew simply works it. Which is why tonight Ariane Andrew is our beauty of the night.

Hair Definition: Demi Permanent Hair Color

If you have ever stepped foot in a beauty supply store to buy products to color your tresses at home you may have been surprised by how many different hair coloring terms you can find on the back of a bottle or box. Ladies, class is back in session and today we shall define demi-permanent hair color. Demi-permanent hair color is a coloring treatment that uses no ammonia and activates tints by using a low volume developer. This process is considered “permanent” so you will not be able to simply rinse or shampoo it out with a couple washes. Therefore, if you’re not so sure if you’re wanting a big change or commitment it is probably best to steer clear of a demi-permanent shade.

Can Beyonce’s hair get some poetic justice? Many remember Janet Jackson’s iconic hairstyle from the 90’s. It was not fried, dyed and laid to the side, just long twisted glory. However, it is Queen Bey’s turn to rock this trendy look.

Beyonce and her sister Solange have never been afraid to support team natural. Braids are a great style if you are transitioning from a relaxer to your hair’s natural state, growing your tresses longer or if you are needing a protective style to shield your locks from harmful elements. Beyonce has recently been posting photos on her social media pages of her long braided hairstyle. What do you think you think of Beyonce’s hairdo? Should she continue to bring braids back?

Celebrity makeup artist, AJ Crimson, is the innovator and creator behind a new line of cosmetics that is set to become the makeup of makeup artists the world over. We recently had the privilege of attending a mixer hosted by AJ Crimson and the good people over at Beauty Frends in regards to the new brand. We were instantly blown away during Crimson’s makeup demonstration. Here’s why:

*BB Cream and Foundation shades literally cover ALL skin tones. Many lines make this claim, but AJ’s makeup is bar none in this area. Whether your skin tone is closer to Tyra Banks or Alek Wek you will find the tint that matches you perfectly.

*You don’t need a whole bunch of products to highlight, contour or add color to your eyes and cheeks. You can just use AJ’s foundations to achieve a “beat” face.

*Used to having to set your makeup before you can walk away from the mirror? This step is no longer necessary, just apply and go.

*The model during the demo had tattoos and Crimson’s foundation made them disappear, like POOF, gone. Even up close you would never think any tattoos had previously been there (see picture below). Just think what that means if you are needing to cover some sort of blemish or acne. It will literally disappear before your eyes.

*You no longer have to look like a cake face to look flawless. AJ’s makeup ensures that you achieve a glowing, natural look.

Now here’s something that you normally don’t see in the realm of beauty. Noire tinted nails during the spring and summer seasons. Warmer months are usually characterized by lighter shades such as pastels and neon colors.

However, why not wear black during summer? Why must darker shades be relegated to the depths of wintertime? Well, the runway broke the mold this year as models were seen with various nail designs that included solid black nail polish. Personally, we love this rule breaking look it’s sassy, daring with a spoonful of mischievous fun. So then, never be afraid to dance to the beat of your own drum or paint your nails the color of your choosing. Seasons change, so why shouldn’t the rules of beauty also?
