Discover Your Skin’s Undertone By Using Jewelry

Why exactly is it important to know and understand the undertone of your skin? Being aware of what category you fall under will help you not only beauty wise, but also when choosing various fashions. Discovering whether you are a warm, cool or neutral undertone will help you purchase cosmetics and couture that truly suit you. This is because you will know what colors are appropriate for your skin type enabling you to truly look your best. Imagine your skin looking more radiant and your eyes more dazzling and all because it is like everything you are wearing was specifically as well as specially made for you.

If seeing is believing or you just happen to be more of a visual person in general there is a simple test that you can perform in order to discover your skin’s undertone. All you need to do is locate two pieces of jewelry, one being gold and the other silver. You will use these accessories to help give yourself a proper assessment of your skin.

To perform the jewelry test first try on your gold jewelry and take note of your skin.

Next, do the same with your silver jewelry remaining observant of how your skin looks.

We all need water to live and if we try to go without consuming it within days we would perish. Moreover, there are many beauty benefits that come from drinking the daily recommended amount of H2O. Beauty experts agree that drinking 8 glasses of water will keep your body healthy and your skin glowing.

However, the scary part is the kind of water that most city dwellers have available to them. Most tap water is filled with various impurities and some can even cause cancer. Well, what’s a girl to do to be able to get her daily intake of water in without causing other health problems?

Beauty Answer: Oh girl yes it is perfectly fine! We do not know when it became the “In” thing to dictate when and how a particular tint or shade should be worn. Makeup is all about self expression and enhancing your gorgeous natural features. What happens if your facial structure just seems to pop when wearing darker shades? Are you just supposed to forgo a certain color all season long just because its not deemed a right seasonal tint?

Hopefully you answered a resounding no because dark lipstick is not just for the colder months. To take it a step farther the orange lip showed up on fall/winter runways several seasons back. Yes, orange a very bright, boisterous shade that is usually deemed more of a spring/summer color. Therefore, do not pigeon hole yourself because various shades can be worn all year long.

One last example before we get to some dark lip beauty inspiration. Red lipstick is worn by women regardless whether it is summer, winter, fall or spring. Yet, how many times do we see that red is THE color for spring or THE color for winter. Which is it, what time of year does red look best? Every color looks its best when it is worn by a confident woman who is happily rocking her look. Nevertheless, when a certain color becomes more popular and seen from the runway to the streets, then that is most likely when it will be honored with the trendy tag.

However, there is way more terrifying and disturbing details regarding these tech gadgets that will alter your way of doing things forever. Well, at least it should cause you to at least give it a little more thought. No fluff or lead-in to this subject ladies, let’s just get right to it. Here are 5 facts about smartphones that will change you forever:

1. It’s Like Putting a Public Restroom Toilet Seat to Your Head- Researchers have discovered that our precious phones contain 18 times more bacteria per square inch than an average toilet seat. The next time you experience an unexpected breakout your cellie may be to blame.

2. Oh Crud- From the outside everything may look fine but the inside may be a whole other story. The good thing is Apple knows how to design a phone that is very secure, the bad thing is it is so secure that crud gets stuck in the phone and never falls out. Cell phone repairmen report that when cleaning phones they have discovered food particles that have caked along with finger oils stuck around the home button.

3. That’s a Load of Cr*p- Hate to break it to you, but researchers also found fecal matter on a large amount of phones. Before you deny it, think about that time you had to see or check your FB, IG, Pins, Tumbles, Snaps, Vines and Tweet time lines while you sat upon your glorious throne. Yup… that’s how it got there.

4. More Transfers Than a Bank Account- Microbes or bacterium can be transferred from person to person due to their ability to survive for days on the surface of your phone.

5. It’s a Bug’s Life- This one freaked us out the most so we are going to say it then quickly put it out of our minds. Very, very tiny critters may be living it up inside of your smartphone because they like the warmth that it provides. They find their way inside by using the earphone jack or other little openings. Nevertheless, there are products that you can buy to help keep them out…yay.

Alright, so what can be done in order to protect the beauty from the smart phone? We need our phones so we are not just going to burn them and live a life of phone celibacy. The key is all about maintaining a clean smartphone, there is no way around it. Keep your phone clean by wiping it down with antibacterial wipes and don’t forget to wash your hands. Moreover, be mindful where you are setting your phone down, aim to place it in an area that is not sketchy. Always think about if you would be willing to press your phone against your face if you laid your cell down in a particular area. If the thought of the face press scares you more than Friday the 13th then do not set your phone down in that area at any cost.

We have to admit it… sometimes the man bun has us feeling some type of way. The man bun is nothing new, men have been wearing them years, however, they have come more into vogue as of late. Famous actors, singers, hip hop artists and Instagram hotties are rocking the man bun fearlessly. A style that for awhile had been considered quite feminine is now a manly hairstyle. Oh how times have changed eh?

The natural hair movement is not just permeating the black girl circle, but men too are taking part in the growing trend. Men are choosing to wear their hair in a number of styles that focus more on just a fade and line-up. Of course, not all buns are created equal and some pull the look off better than others, but we are loving all of the diversity. Nude Lips For Dark Skin Women

For years women with darker skin tones were fed the beauty myth that they could not wear a nude lip. Why had this been the case? A number of reasons came into play a couple being there wasn’t much on the market in terms of tints that would make for a great nude lip look and also some felt that a lipstick wouldn’t cover a two-toned pucker.

Many women who are considered dark skin possess lips that have two different tones. Usually the upper lip is darker than the bottom lip. However, is this a valid reason to give up the nude lip look or a cop out?

We have said once and we will say it again, dark skin women CAN wear nude lips. When picking the perfect shade there are now plenty of options available to create a fabulous beauty look. Moreover, do not worry yourself with finding a shade that matches your skin perfectly, that is not necessary. Nevertheless, do you really want your lips to seem like they disappeared completely off your face?
