Celebrities always aim to bring their “A” game for The Met Ball, one of the biggest fashion events of the year. The theme for this year’s gala was “China: Through The Looking Glass.” Starlets and gentlemen arrived to showcase their take and perspective on the night’s theme through their own personal style. Color seemed to be a the way to go and we noticed purple and blues were repeatedly spotted.

Tyra Banks is the top earning woman on prime-time television. The “America’s Next Top Model” host earned $30 million during a 12-month period.
Normally we feature a daily quote related to fashion or beauty, however this week we came across a Tyra Banks quote in regards to business that we just had to share. Enjoy and feel inspired to start that business, be that leader or champion your own successes.
“I’ve helped some of my classmates on how to strategize to get to the next level of their businesses. And it’s interesting, because here I am sitting there from the entertainment industry and the fashion industry, and I’m giving a billionaire that has a business that’s been in his family for 300 years- I’m giving him advice about strategy!”

Zendaya looked like an exotic Repunzel walking the red carpet at this year’s Radio Disney Music Awards. The starlet rocked hair down-to-there in soft lush waves that looked like she had just emerged from the ocean waters like Ariel. Alright, alright enough with the fairy tale references, it’s the Radio Disney Music Awards we couldn’t help it! Nevertheless, we digress…we loved Zendaya’s beachy waves and hope that she keeps this look.

“If you look back in history of the women who are most memorable and most stylish, they were never the followers of fashion. They were the ones who were unique in their style, breakers of the rules. They were authentic, genuine, original. They were not following the trends.”
