Jennifer Hudson attends the 2015 New York City Ballet Fall Gala

Forget Cinderella, Jennifer Hudson didn’t even need a glass slipper to be considered the Belle of the Ball! Hudson was in attendance this week for the New York City Ballet Fall Gala and arrived in style with her date, designer Prabal Gurung. Now it just wouldn’t be fitting for a lady to attend such an event with an esteemed high fashion designer and not were one of his creations, correct? Well, not to worry Hudson was a stunning date and muse for the night.

Jennifer wore a gorgeous satin faced chiffon Atelier Prabal Gurung gown with hand embroidered crystals. If were Hudson and the clock struck twelve we would have had to take our chances with our car turning into a pumpkin because we would not have wanted the night to end and have to give back this dress! Is it not easy to see we have gorged ourselves on Disney films for many years (LOL)? We digress, but Jennifer Hudson did look like an absolute dream.

Prabal Gurung must of felt the same way because he had nothing but glowing remarks in regards to his pretty little date. On the gram Gurung posted a picture of him and Hudson with the caption,

“Her beauty radiates from within, you can’t help but stare and admire.”

Altogether everyone, “AWWWW!” The gala that Jennifer Hudson and Prabal Gurung attended was held at the David H. Koch theater at Lincoln Center in New York City. The decor was just as lush and classy as Hudson’s ensemble (see below). What a great night of beauty as well as fashion and we are still loving that short hair on Jennifer!

Head Back to School With Nail Designs From MARS the Salon

1. File nail into desired shape.

2. Apply 2 coats of white polish to each nail.

3. Apply camel and turquoise polish on the tips and under the tip.

3. Using a precision art brush, create a checkered pattern on three alternating nails using neon pink polish.

4. Apply top coat to seal and add shine.

1. Apply a base coat.

2. Apply silver glitter polish on all fingers.

3. Apply Gold hologram polish on all fingers.

4. Apply a top coat.

2. Coat the alternate nails in a glittery silver polish

3. Paint a thick stripe of the burgundy across the top of each silver-coated nail

Clumps and smearing can usually be completely avoided if prep before application is done correctly. What sort of preparation is needed when applying mascara? You will want to take into consideration the wand as well as what could possibly occur later on during the day.

Naturally, oil and water do not mix with one another. For instance, if you have ever boiled pasta you must likely added oil to the water to prevent the pasta from sticking together. So then, this means that emulsifiers help achieve something that is not a natural process. This very residue can cause damage to your skin’s protective layer and produce dryness. When we are young our skin tends to produce more oils but as we get older or skin is dryer which causes our skin to age faster. Therefore, avoiding dryness is like protecting our fountain of youth.

It’s a bird, it’s a plane… no it is just the coolest fragrance design you have ever seen! We love when designers step outside the box and create a full on masterpiece. Of course half the reason fragrances sale so well is due to their captivating and alluring notes. However, for some of us a perfume’s overall packaging can also sway us to have the register ringing.

We are loving Marc Jacobs newest fragrance Decadence which comes packaged as a chic purse-shaped bottle. Jacobs says he wanted his fragrance to truly be indulgent. This week we have seen some gorgeous ladies posting up some pretty little photos of themselves! From singers to models, from snapchat to Facebook several celebs hit the social media platforms with some heavy hittas. Here are a few of our favorites spotted over the course of the week.

Ciara has been busy promoting her album Jackie and stopped by CBS Morning Show and posed it out with Gayle King. It does not take much to make this natural beauty look glamorous, but that red lip color is simply killer!

There is some much to love about this pic! Alicia Keys looks like an exotic queen with her bold pop of color lipstick and full eyelashes. Always on trend we also got a kick out of her septum nose ring.

Ashanti decided to break Snapchat instead of the internet when she posted this little number. Although looking quite natural in the photo can we get an Amen for those full eyebrows? Work it Ashanti!

Ugh… even while chilling at the zoo Joan Smalls looks like she belongs on somebody’s cover or in an editorial! Joan snapped a quick Lemur picture while at the Taronga Zoo and looked like the most chic one of the pack with her lush purple lip shade.
