Zendaya looked like an exotic Repunzel walking the red carpet at this year’s Radio Disney Music Awards. The starlet rocked hair down-to-there in soft lush waves that looked like she had just emerged from the ocean waters like Ariel. Alright, alright enough with the fairy tale references, it’s the Radio Disney Music Awards we couldn’t help it! Nevertheless, we digress…we loved Zendaya’s beachy waves and hope that she keeps this look.

“If you look back in history of the women who are most memorable and most stylish, they were never the followers of fashion. They were the ones who were unique in their style, breakers of the rules. They were authentic, genuine, original. They were not following the trends.”
-Nina Garcia

If you have ever heard the expression, “If the shoe fits…,” you know the importance of a good match up. Handbags are not any different, different bags will work for certain events while others simply will not. Some days you will need to tote 90% of your valuables with you, while other days will just require the bare minimum. The Barneys New York Byredo Handbag Collection seems to have really kept these concepts and principles in mind by having various handbags of varying sizes readily available. The collection includes small to medium satchels as well as a clutch style made specially for when zipping around town. The overall vibe of the handbags is sophisticated, refined and oozing with luxurious detailing. Materials used for the designs include luxe suede, calfskin, smooth leather and other fine materials.

The heat is definitely on inside the latest issue of Oprah’s O magazine. The April edition includes an editorial feature on stunning actress Rosario Dawson in which she models Cuban flavored couture. We loved all of the festive and bold colors which gave off an exquisite exotic flair. Relaxed yet beautiful is exactly what popped into our minds regarding this voguish editorial.

Sometimes it is really the little details that can make all the difference in fashion. For their Conscious Spring 2015 Lookbook the good people over at H&M have designed spring couture that includes ruffles, cut-outs, prints and low V-cuts highlighting the bust or well-defined back. The entire collection is modern without having to be an extreme style risk-taker. You’ll look great and chic in these fresh styles.

Chanel Iman has always had a love for fashion and talks about it freely this month with Malibu Magazine. Regarding her mother Iman confessed,
“She’d know just what to do to punish me. She wouldn’t give me money for the mall, and she knew I loved fashion. So my girlfriends would get fresh outfits to go to the movies, and I’d have to wear something I’d already worn.”
For the cover Chanel was styled by Anita Patrickson who chose a Louis Vuitton spring/summer 2015 blue sweater dress for the fashionable 24-year-old and photography was handled by Jake Chessum.
