They got us through the pandemic. Now they are going to move us musically through the mid-to-late-20s. In a recent interview Chloe x Halle’s Chloe Bailey confirms that a CxH3 album is officially in the works!
This means that the new Chloe x Halle era is at long last finally taking shape. Both Bailey sisters have grown as artists in a solo capacity. For instance, Chloe experienced success as a solo artist with her platinum debut single “Have Mercy.” The single was released back in 2021.
Chloe has impressed music enthusiasts and fans due to the fact that she co-writes and self-produces much of her own material. Thus, efficiently showcasing her multi-instrumental and studio skills.
However, it is not just fans that Chloe has caught the attention of over the years. But true GOATS of the music industry and game. Most recently, Chloe has teamed up with legendary producer Timbaland for her 2026 collaborative mixtape. Timbaland has worked with some of the biggest artists in the world. From the iconic Aaliyah, Justin Timberlake, Rihanna, Katy Perry, Beyoncé, OneRepublic, Missy Elliot, Nelly Furtado; Snoop Dogg and Madonna.
Nevertheless, Chloe’s little sis, Halle Bailey, has made a name for herself as well. She got to show off her vocal chops as Ariel in The Little Mermaid. The live-action The Little Mermaid (2023 film) grossed $569.6 million worldwide; on par with Disney’s live-action Cinderella (2015) which grossed $542.3 million worldwide.
What about Halle’s music as a solo artist? Well, still more success. Halle’s solo debut single “Angel” (2023) earned a Grammy nomination.

Interestingly, Halle told THR that going solo was a difficult process. She states,
“I don’t think I would be able to be in this industry or start this way without her, you know, because she was the one that was pulling us both forward to be like, ‘Come on, we can do this,’” she said of her sister, adding that she’s “so grateful” to have her as an “anchor.”
Well, the Bailey sisters are now back together. As a duo, they earned five Grammy nominations for their albums The Kids are Alright and Ungodly Hour.
But a new chapter is upon us. Chloe confirmed that CxH3 is in the works and revealed that the album will embrace a Neo-Soul/R&B sound. She also shared that she played Halle 30 to 40 songs from her catalog, with Halle picking her favorites before sharing some of her own. The duo is now building the album from those selections.
