Yes, Cardi B has officially made the music industry legacy books as the first female rapper with four RIAA Diamond-certified songs in U.S. history. This milestone was reached after her 2020 smash hit “WAP” featuring Megan Thee Stallion surpassed 10 million units sold. Thus, marking this never been seen before historic achievement.
Megan Thee Stallion’s and Cardi’s collab came out six years ago. So this means for a little over half a decade this single has still be steadily selling. The sign of a truly big time song.

On Monday (August 3), “WAP,” Bardi’s 2020 smash collaboration with Megan Thee Stallion, was officially certified diamond after the song surpassed 10 million units sold in the U.S. The achievement gives the Bronx superstar her fourth diamond plaque, the most of any female rapper, while “WAP” also becomes the first collaboration between two female rappers to reach the milestone. It also marks the first diamond certification of Megan’s career.
So then, congratulations to Meg as well! She now officially joins the RIAA Diamond-certified club. A huge accomplishment in any artist’s career.
