As the Ghana Fashion & Design week continues its speedy approach (October 2015), fashion enthusiasts can already begin to wet their style appetites with Wonderland. Wonderland is an editorial that was specially created for the event which was inspired by the ‘Discovery of Knowledge.’ What sort of knowledge gained will this spread bring to the fore?
The editorial showcases the talents of three models: Ebba Merrington, Sofia Elhaj and Emilyne Mondo. The models come together posing in a natural setting to show the social evolution that has occured throughout the years. For instance, the models can be seen holding books as well as gazing at their texts indicating that knowledge has been not only gained but applied.
Some key points in regards to the production of the editorial is that the shoot was lensed by Adrenus Craton. Moreover, the models were styled by Daryl Rita Osekreh with fashions and accessories from: Casely Hayford, Paul Andrew, Roberto Cavali, Just Cavali, Curiously London, Sophia Kah and Felicia Swartling. Model Alexis Primous Goes From Instagram to W Magazine Editorial!
With the world becoming more visual and smaller due to social media many hopefuls hope to be seen as well as discovered. Our feature photographer was just mentioning how many times you will see IG bios including an email as well as the words, “Serious inquires only!” Moreover, what about the countless memes joking about males and females being models apart of the Instagram modeling agency?
Those scenarios and situations only highlight the dream of going from Instagram unknown to a major force to be reckoned with in the modeling world. Nevertheless, for one fortunate young lady that is exactly what happened! Model Alexis Primous took part in an Instagram model search that was conducted in behalf of IMG Models as well as W Magazine. The search turned out to be fruitful giving girls from all over the chance to show off their modeling abilities instead of having to go to cities such as NYC or Los Angeles. Alexis hails from Florida proving that a Instagram contest can discover talent in all places quickly.
Primous beat out hundreds of hopefuls in order to star in her very first editorial. Looking at the photos of her shoot will amaze you by her talent level rendering her a complete natural in front of the camera. Alexis poses like a vet so that it is so hard to believe that it was her first shoot ever.
Alexis Primous’ editorial is solidifying her as a promising new face in the modeling industry. Her editorial which can be found in the September issue of W mag is 14 pages deep. The shoot was styled by the fab Edward Enninful and lensed by Mario Sorrenti.
Editorial Notes:
Fashions Worn– Dior, Chloé and Miu Miu

Look of the Week: Keke Palmer in Giulietta Resort 2016
Miss Palmer killed it a few weeks back when she attended Comic Con and several network parties. Therefore, it is no surprise that she would continue to slay as she attended yet another all-star event. For the 2015 Teen Choice Awards Keke stunned all in a design from Giulietta Resort 2016.
The color scheme as well as geometric design of the gown make this dress one fun, flirty little number. Moreover, the strappy shoes harmonized with the dresses straps perfectly. In the accessory department we also loved Keke’s tattoo choker. These were so cool to wear as a kid so we are so glad that they are back in vogue!
Beauty Notes: Keke demonstrates how to balance makeup so as not to look slightly clownish. Since she chose to rock with a rather strong eye makeup look, Palmer then kept the rest of her makeup simple incorporating a nude lip.
