All we have to say is that this was a whole lot of look for such a petite beautiful girl. Love it or hate it, let’s face it this dress definitely got us all talking. Rihanna went majorly pink for this year’s Grammys with pulled back hair and a more natural makeup look.

Now many may not have been fans of RiRi’s pretty in pink dress but her ensemble for her performance with Kanye West and Paul McCartney leaned more towards the style of Rihanna we have all grown to love. Sleek hair parted down the middle and black power suit… uhm, what now haters! (LOL)

Nicki Minaj Returns to Blonde Hair

After several months with Raven black locks and a more reserved look, Nicki Minaj stepped out today back to her Barbz aka Black Barbie days. Besides her bold Versace and Guiseppe Zanotti ensemble what we took note of most was her return to blonde hair. Nicki has worn this hair look before, platinum blonde hair color while keeping dark roots in play.

Nevertheless, so far her fans have had mixed reactions to Minaj’s changed style. Fans on Instagram have given the music star over a million likes that span across the 9 pictures Nicki posted a little over an hour ago. Comments include sentiments that Minaj is the ultimate diva to pleas for the hip hop genius to return to her black hair color. Of course we loved Nicki with darker tresses but as we always say, style is all about self expression. Therefore, if Nicki loves it then Nicki should just rock it!

Beautiful Black Women: Naomi Campbell Agent Provocateur SS 2015 Campaign

There is no way that Naomi Campbell is 40 anything! Campbell continues to slay in ad campaigns for major brands as well as fashion houses and has taken it all almost off for Agent Provocateur’s SS 2015 ad campaign. Naomi was thrilled to star in the campaign especially being a supermodel in her forties and the brand itself was just as excited to have her.

Creative director Sarah Shotton mentioned that, “Naomi and Ellen were perfect for this, as they both have such strong, individual personalities.” She went on to say in regards to the casting of Naomi, “Naomi is the ultimate Agent Provocateur woman: witty, gorgeous, and confident.”

Ashanti was all dolled up for her interview with CBS to give deets on her brand new single Scars and the video! Ashani’s fashion statement was a hit with her fans with several IG photos reaching over 30,000 likes. Ashanti is not the only star to rock the couture that is made “for the cool kids.” The clothing and lingerie line, For Love and Lemons has been worn by everyone from Chanel Iman to Joan Smalls.

There are no words for tonight’s beauty who hails from our very place of residence Los Angeles, California. Shayla is a makeup artist who BEATS a face into flawless submission. Her celebrity clients include Real Housewives of Atlanta mega stars Kandi Burruss and Porsha Williams.

Tonight is unprecedented because we will normally narrow it down to two makeup looks, but tonight we simply could not do it. We dialed up Shayla on the beauty hotline and fell in love with four looks that included bold lip colors, contouring, full eyebrows and exquisite eyeliner. We know you will agree that this call should of been even longer than four photos; however, all good things must come to an end. Diane mentioned that Brittany had made a good first impression and had to draw back in order to not show bias. However, Hampton’s skill set as well as drive put her over the top of the other candidates and competition.

Supermodel Joan Smalls slays whether in front of a camera and lights or stomping down a runway. This month Joan shows that her modeling skills are no small potatoes by posing to the death for an editorial for Vogue Japan. Smalls is slinging snowboards as well as pink, red and blue braided ponytails all while in fringe knee-high boots, fur as well as leopard print attire.

We have said it once and will continue to preach how wonderful it is to see color being utilized in fashion during winter. Of course the usual couture forecast during this season involves darker, drab shades so it is refreshing to see vibrancy in this editorial. Take notes and remember just because it’s cloudy and dark outside doesn’t mean it has to take all the fun out of your personal style. Be bold, be you and always have fun.
