The stars came out in full force yesterday to take part in the MTV Movie Awards for 2015. What better place than for celebrities to converge upon Los Angeles, California where stars are truly born in the streets of Hollywood. Fashion statements were made and hairdos kept pace with the various stylish ensembles. Tinashe kept things sleek and simple with a black gown and topknot bun. The ease of her hairstyle allowed the drama and emphasis to remain on her designer threads.

Coachella 2015 is underway and already we are spotting some stylish beauties. Gorgeous models Imaan Hammam and Melodie Monrose are among this weekend’s attendees looking divine in crop tops and denim. The popular music festival held out in Indio, California has one of the hottest lineups including some of our personal favs: Drake, Prince, Kendrick Lamar, U2, Tears For Fears and Hall & Oats.

Fashion Notes: Don’t know how to accessorize your outfits this season? Take note of what these fab ladies are wearing around their necks. Chokers are “In” this spring and summer adding a nice trendy flair to a relaxed style.

Black Girl’s Rock 2015: Hair Recap

Yesterday, the 3rd Annual Black Girls Rock! hit the television waves hosted by Regina King and Tracee Ellis Ross. Black Girls Rock! Inc. is an non-profit youth empowerment and mentoring organization which promotes the healthy development of young black women and girls. The organization aims to,

“To build the self-esteem and self-worth of young women of color by changing their outlook on life, broadening their horizons, and helping them to empower themselves.”

As Whitney Houston once sang, children are the future and with such encouragement they are sure to shine brightly. There has been much hoopla regarding the beauty of black hair, so we have decided to highlight why black hair rocks! Here is our hair recap of just a few of our favorite looks from the 2015 Black Girl’s Rock! event.

Rihanna Dolls Up in Pink Dior Gown for Home Premiere

Our initial reaction to RiRi’s fashion statement at the Los Angeles premiere of animated film Home, was wow she looks like a doll! We are sure if a Rihanna doll made it’s way to the toy aisle Mattel would make a serious grip. We are talking Elmo level pandemonium people… then again that’s the everyday life of Rihanna right now.

RiRi hit the red carpet in a pink satin gown by Dior that made us want to watch Breakfast at Tiffany’s for the 100 million time. Rihanna looked elegant, sophisticated and very old Hollywood glam. We love us some Rihanna whether her style is “badgal” or a conservative good girl.

We can’t wait for the adorableness known as the cartoon movie, Home to slide on into theaters. Until then, we will just hair crush some more on Miss Fenty! Rihanna stunned as per usual at the L.A. premiere of her new flick with locks pulled up into a high bun with a full bang. Great protective hairstyle that is fabulous for spring weather.

After you watch them break it down, rewind and pop that work that; then comeback right here and check out one of the coolest ad campaigns for spring/summer 2015. The Les Twins star in an ad for Hogan SS 2015 and are joined by models George Barnett and Jack Guinness.

The look and feel of the campaign is so typical LA that all we could do is smile. You know when your friend calls you up to ask what to wear and you simply reply, “Dressy causal.” Those terms sum up the collection very well, its upscale meets relaxed and laid back.

Tomorrow, tomorrow we will still love this when we see it tomorrow! Armani’s Junior Spring/Summer ad campaign for 2015 features the adorable Quvenzhane Wallis who played Annie in the 2014 reboot. The actress shows her modeling skills catching air in a stripe dress and posing it out with a furry friend in a nicely tailored suit.

Chanel Cruise Campaign Spring 2015 Featuring Joan Smalls

Joan Smalls, one of the hardest working supermodels in the whole wide world can be seen in the Chanel Cruise Campaign for spring 2015. This campaign actually features two models, Joan is joined by adorable child model Hudson Kroenig who isn’t a newbie by any means having walked in runway shows for both Fendi and Chanel. Hudson is the son of model, Brad Kroenig, and is photographed doing regular kid activities throughout the campaign.
