When we first laid eyes on the editorial for the Rue De Francois Spring 2016 Collection we were utterly speechless. There are not enough words to describe such beauty, but we shall try. The color palette marries together rich and warm colors that invoke luxury and pure opulence. This is fashion that is fit for a queen.

All pieces are hand made and are very well executed. Skill and love is what we noticed throughout the Rue De Francois Spring 2016 collection. The founder, Lorenzo Walker has been sewing since the tender age of 11. All those years of honing in on his craft have paid off for Walker who recently showed his fashions during NYFW.

Nevertheless, his efforts are paying off in another way as well. We recently discovered that Rue De Francois is the first ever Not for Profit House of Fashion. Lorenzo aims to share his knowledge of fashion and use all charitable donations, given or received, towards the disadvantaged and homeless.

Congratulations to Lorenzo Walker for chasing his dreams and being an advocate for those in need. Moreover, the Rue De Francois Spring 2016 collection is absolutely gorgeous and we can’t wait to see more in the future.

Streetstyle: Suno Dress Worn By Zendaya Coleman

Zendaya Coleman has had yet another major week of work. Her CHI Haircare ad campaign was released showcasing just how real her beauty is and then some. CHI Haircare held an event for the release of the campaign that included their stunning spokeswoman. Zendaya was styled to perfection in a design by Suno.

We always love seeing Zendaya in color because we feel bright tints look great with her skin tone. We spotted Zendaya taking her fun look to the streets. The gown displays a very small amount of skin giving it a hint of sass. Coleman completed her ensemble with black boot heels and a leather jacket.

Zendaya’s use of jewelry was very minimalist. When wearing an outfit that is bold there really is no need overpower the look with unnecessary jewels. Accessories and couture should never compete, only compliment each other.

Hair Notes: Being the front lady of a major hair company it is no surprise that her tresses looked so fabulous! Coleman rocked curls for days with her Suno dress.

CHI Haircare Real Is Beautiful Campaign With Zendaya

Chi Haircare has just released a new ad campaign featuring one our faves Zendaya Coleman! The campaign aims to help girls to embrace their real individual beauty. As part of the #RealIsBeautiful campaign Zendaya shares her style and beauty tips. Zendaya makes a wonderful spokeswoman for the CHI Haircare brand since she does always keep it 100.

Just how real does Zendaya keep it? Well, in the past she stood up to remarks made in regards to her wearing dreads at a red carpet event. The result? Recanting of statements made and Zendaya heralded in the form of a Barbie doll, dreads and all. Coleman’s outspokenness to be comfortable and confident in your own skin has resonated with young girls the world over.

CHI Haircare is added fuel to the inspiration fire by supporting realism. The brand’s Gram profile even mentions that they just don’t want your hair to look beautiful, they want you to feel beautiful too. What a nice thought!

We are huge fans of CHI Haircare products and own several of their flat irons and hair protectant products. Moreover, we are happy to see this partnership between Zendaya and CHI and can’t wait to see what’s all in store. Check out the campaign girls, the photos are stunning!

Keke & Serayah Attend Vanity Fair and Fiat Young Hollywood Celebration

We spotted two dimes at the Vanity Fair and Fiat Young Hollywood Celebration. Actresses Keke Palmer and Empire’s Serayah made appearances at the fabulous celebrity soirée. Young Hollywood doesn’t always get the love that they deserve but these starlets showed just why they are worthy of the flashing lights.

Starting with gorgeous Serayah who’s style game is always on point. Really should we expect any less from a member of Instagram’s hottest squad? For the Vanity Fair and Fiat Young Hollywood Celebration Serayah slayed in a dress designed by Vivienne Westwood accompanied with heels by Cesare Pacotti. She further accessorized her ensemble with a clutch by Emm Kuo.

Keke Palmer also brought it in a chic yet more laid back outfit. Palmer paired a red button down shirt with tie-waist culottes. We always salute fashionistas who take risks because that is what fashion is all about. To wear those bottoms you definitely have to be daring!

Keke Palmer Wears Galia Lahav at ABFF Awards

We spotted actress Keke Palmer walking the red carpet at the ABFF Awards celebrating black excellence in film. For the event she wore a gown by Galia Lahav. We thought she looked confident and gorgeous plus the color went nicely with her skin tone.

Cut-outs and high splits continue to dominate fashion trends. The Galia Lahav dress worn by Palmer included both details. Keke showed off her curves in the daring gown and you could tell she felt like a million bucks. In regards to her dress Palmer said,

“I still can not get over the beautiful dress I got the pleasure of rocking last night! All thanks to [ Galia Lahav ] and of course my amazing glam squad! Just the way you manage to keep me GLAM but still TRUE TO ME. As a kid people would always put me in “fancy” stuff but I would never be able to partake in the decision making. I felt like I represented the clothes but they weren’t representing ME! Which is what it is about, your style should be an expression OF you. It feels good to be in the driver seat with an amazing team that believes in what I’m doing. #FeelingLikeTheQueenOfZumunda #ComingToAmerica.”

We always love Keke’s sense of humor and realism. Moreover, she is an excellent model and example of what style is all about. Fashion is an expression of your own personality and amazing traits. So then, be like Keke Palmer and always stay true to yourself because that is the greatest fashion trend ever.

Beauty Notes: We got a beauty kick out of the pop of color in Keke’s choice of nail color. When wearing head-to-toe color don’t be afraid to match a complimentary tint to your ensemble. Doing so with a add a subtle hint of drama.

With another number one album under her belt, Rihanna continues to rule the music world. Her fashion prowess has not dimmed either, being that she just showed her Fenty x Puma collection during New York Fashion Week. As the Creative Director Rihanna has much influence in design. On the heels of her successive showing in NYFW comes news of a new shoe, Trainer by Fenty.

Anyone remember the Puma Creeper? Well, you might if you were able to get your hands on a pair. The Creeper sold out almost instantly and the shoe world is gearing up for another hit from the Fenty x Puma camp. In regards to the Trainer by Fenty, Puma took to Instagram stating that the shoe is,

“Designed to draw attention, push boundaries, and change the game. Designed by [Rihanna]. Introducing the Trainer by Fenty. Available 2.26.”

We always enjoy getting fan reactions to big announcements. We find it is a way to gauge potential success and get some realism on the subject at hand. Here is what people are saying about the Trainer by Fenty ad campaign:

In this editorial put together by Vogue, Derek Zoolander proves he is a really, really good looking model! We always love when a bit of humor can be reintroduced into the fashion world. Zoolander, the film that made the duck-face pose a mainstream staple is back with a hilarious sequel. Actors Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson began building hype for Zoolander 2 when they walked in the Valentino Fall 2015 runway show. Their unexpected Paris fashion show appearance set the tone of epic style moments to come.

The latest promotion includes a fashion spread in Vogue. Zoolander fiercely models with supermodels Joan Smalls, Jourdan Dunn and Gigi Hadid. The photos give us life and we can’t stop looking at them. Fan reaction to the Zoolander 2 editorial has been the same, here are a few:

PowerPuff Girls x Moschino Launch Party

90s babies and kids unite! Jeremy Scott has designed an epic collection featuring one of the best gal toon trios ever made. Last night, Jeremy Scott and his fashion forward girlfriends came together to celebrate the launch of the PowerPuff Girls x Moschino line.

The Purple Unicorn, Justine Skye, attended the event and shared her thoughts regarding the line. She seemed to have fun on social media showing fans her look for the party. She even made reference to a new change to her Instagram. For the past few weeks the singer had only posted black and white photography. Nevertheless, for the PowerPuff Girls x Moschino launch she was “colorful.” Justine went on to say,

“In love with the new collection Jeremy Scott! Thank you for having me, can’t wait to go to the show.”

Empire’s Serayah was also in on all the fashion fun. If time machines were real we would of thought Serayah had come out of one. We loved the styling of her boisterous ensemble right down to the choker! In regards to the line Serayah said,

“Always kisses for the genius Jeremy Scott for this amazing PowerPuff Girls line, I was always Bubbles who were you?!”

Jeremy Scott is truly a visionary when it comes to fashion. Scott has never had a collection that disappoints. His designs are for the girl who is not afraid to just be herself and enjoy life. Jeremy was happy to have Justine and Serayah apart of his big night stating,

“And these beauties last night! Serayah and Justine Skye last night wearing a mix of Jeremy Scott and Moschino for my PowerPuff Girls x Moschino Launch Party. #GirlPower.”

It definitely was a night full of 90s girl power. We didn’t think the Barbie designs could be outdone but Jeremy always knows how to wow us. Congratulations on the PowerPuff Girls x Moschino line Mr. Scott we know its going to be successful!
