5 Ways to Help Curb Your Hunger

Okay ladies, summer is seven months away and by making some changes now you can have an eye-popping body when things really heat up! One problem that many struggle with when it comes to weight loss is diet. Especially, here in the states where portions are enormous and are like eating 3 meals in one setting.

Nevertheless, beyond learning the correct portion size at mealtime just getting to the point of eating less can be challenging. On paper losing weight is quite simple, burn more calories than you take in or consume. With that being said, are there any tips that will make diet less stressful? Of course darlings, here are 5 ways to help curb your hunger!

She Eats Carbs!– In The Devil Wears Prada carbs was a sin, but when it comes to feeling full longer you are going to want to partake in some fiber. Fiber found in whole grains, seeds,nuts, veggies and fruits like apples will help fill that bottomless pit of a belly quicker helping you consume less.
Water Baby– Take a clue from an old toy and make sure that you are FULL of water. Dehydration is a major culprit for overeating because the body increases hunger pangs in order to try to tempt you to drink more and rehydrate.
Cool Like a Cucumber– Tough exams, work projects and gaining a zit before picture day can make any gal throw her hands up in protest. However, remaining calm is the best answer to not overeating when stressful situations occur. Stress can cause a hormone known as Cortisol that will make you hungry. Go for a jog, dance, comment under Drake’s muscle pics or anything else that helps you feel at peace.
Be a Regulator– This may sound like you are getting ready to drop the hardest LP of 2016, but nope its just suggesting you regulate your blood sugar. If you don’t then you will crave more food which could result in you guessed it, more weight gain. How can this regulation be achieved? Eat fiber/proteins and drink plenty of H2O.
So Trashy– The best way to curb cravings is to get rid of the bad foods that you crave regularly. If that is too tough try buying snacks that come in small packages instead of the larger bags or boxes.

When you are the face behind Robert Cavalli fall adverts then you must be able to pose like rent is due, correct? Ciara is a one woman powerhouse who can sing, dance and model her butt off. Ciara appears in the most recent edition of Vogue Italia showcasing creations by major designer brands.

What exactly does Ciara wear in her shoot lensed by Markus & Koala? CiCi brings the heat in a bold, printed bodysuit by Dquared2 as well as Tom Ford skirt and top by Cushnie et Ochs. In still another display of great fashion Ciara models a stunning corset by Givenchy along with skirt and boots.

Ciara looked completely drop dead gorgeous with the help of an amazing team comprising of hair, makeup and styling. Yolanda Frederick handled makeup duties, while Cesar Ramirez was on locks control and the wonderful Agnieszka Scibior made sure Ciara’s style was kept on point.

Are you the type of hair-lista that loves to live on the edge? Has your hair seen more changes in color than the Care Bears rainbow? If so, you may just be a future candidate for The Undercut.

The Undercut is exactly what it sounds like when it comes to the look and feel of this black hairstyle. An undercut is where the back sections of your head/hairline is cut or buzzed very short. Some daring ladies even choose to the extend the look to include the sides of their head (think Rihanna).

We came across a few undercut styles on Instagram which reignited our love for the style, yet the one featured up top was our absolute favorite. The diagonal design and the purple hair color just sent us to the moon. Below you will find a little more inspiration that may just convince you to give this a look a try!

Hair Tips: Once you get an undercut done the compliments will roll on in, but the maintenance can be a headache without the right products. Hair never stops growing which means your hair is not going to stay looking perfectly cut. In between reshape hair cuts keep hairs slicked down and in place with gel or mousse. This will also help maintain the look until you can blend the hair together if you are over the undercut and growing out your hair.

As the famous saying goes, “If it is not broke, why fix it?” Many times when it comes to fashion choices we may find ourselves wondering the same thing. If something is working and making us look like we belong in a magazine cover story then maybe we should just stick to it.

We have noted many celebrities who seem to apply that very thinking to themselves. Case in point, the uber talented and gorgeous Jonelle Monae who can rock monochromatic (black and white) styles like no one’s business. Of course, Monae falls into that category of women that could take paper bags, sow them together into an ensemble and make it look like the hottest trend ever. No, these are not mini-buns as some have began to refer to this hairstyle. What is shown in the various photos within this post is a natural black hairstyle that is known as Bantu Knots. How can you recreate this style and why might you want to wear it?

Let’s start with the latter portion of the above question first. Here is a quick stat that is proving that black women want to show off the true beauty of their locks. Sales for perms and relaxers are drastically declining as more and more women opt for healthier hair options. Chemicals used in those harmful relaxers have led to burns, unhealthy scalps and hair loss that for some have resulted in baldness.

On The Runway: For me personally I feel like Stella McCartney’s collections are usually one note or is so straight laced that sometimes it just doesn’t always deliver that wow factor. Yet this season Stella really showed something new. I am in love with the pink pleated dress. The way it moves and how the dress a three dimensional feel makes we want to put it on right now. Also the orange see through dress is absolutely gorgeous.

Just the other day, the beautiful Jennifer Hudson had us in a fashion fairy tale thanks to her Atelier Prabal Gurung gown. Since then, we have been obsessed with Disney fashions, because what little girl hasn’t imagined herself as a gorgeous princess? Therefore, it seems as though our Disney-esque style fascination will have to continue on its high now that our attention has swifted towards a particular pair of Jimmy Choos inspired by Cindy herself. Ladies and girls, fashionistas and converted tomboys feast your eyes on the Jimmy Choo Crystal Covered Pointy Toe Pump aka Cinderella Slipper!

These pumps are so bomb if we had attended Prince Charming’s ball in these babies we wouldn’t have left one behind… because we would have super glued them to our feet (LOL)! The photos alone simply do not do this shoe justice especially when it comes to the luminous and luxurious shine given off by the crystals. For that reason we invite you to take a moment to watch this short video showcasing these out of this world pair of heels.

Okay, welcome back and honestly aren’t those shoes simply beautiful? Design like that is meticulous and very well executed. Moreover, would we expect anything less from a brand that prides itself on it’s production value? See for yourself, how much love and attention Jimmy Choo puts into every pair of their stunning heels.

You may remember that actress Lily James was lucky enough to rock these for the premiere of Disney’s real life adaptation of Cinderella.
