Can you imagine living to the age of 100 years old? For most of us, living a century is quite a feat and think about all the things you would see! Annie ‘Lula’ Strong has lived through the sinking of Titanic, two world wars, The Great Depression, a moon landing, the development of television, computers, cell phones as well as the Internet, September 11 and has seen the first black man take office as the President of the United States.
All of those events are probably just a few of the things that Annie could tell you about and how she saw it all through her eyes. Today is Saturday, March 15, 2014 and Annie ‘Lula’ Strong is turning not 100 years of age, but 104. Her last name fits her to a “T,” because to reach such a milestone she must be one Strong lady.
